Pew Research Center

The Pew Center has done some studies of the press that are beginning to shed some light on my feelings about The New York Times. Before Hillary I was in tune with the Times. I read the paper every morning with perfect agreement. But when they sided with Obama I began to experience press bias for the first time. I am convinced they slanted the news. However with the Pew research I will take a second look. I do know that I get angry when I read the paper and now I can't read it any more. I now read the Wall Street Journal even tho I am not for McCain.

Palin isn't the problem

The problem is us. What should be happening is honesty on the part of the candidates. But if they are honest we would not vote for them. Anyone with any sense should know we have to cut programs and not add. With a National Debt so huge we should be debating where are the cuts. However if the candidates did we wouldn't elect them. If you look for greed look in the mirror. If you hear about voo doo economics the fault lies with us.

When Palin was introduced why should the campaign pretend she had the experience of an insider. My not make the case for an outsider , a person away from the problem, with energy, intelligence, etc. instead of fake. The reason .US ,THE ELECTORATE. we should get real.

The problem is us..the electorate!

During last nights debate I was looking for a question about the National Debt and how the candidates could reconcile their positions on spending, tax cuts, and the national debt. I guess if they were honest and said they would have to modify their handouts i.e. programs the stupid public would vote for the other guy. I think the voters should get real! We have to cut and we should be debating where so our elected officials could get busy and do the right thing without fear of reprisals.

Bias

It sure would be nice if someone with resources would count negative and positive words in the articles on the three candidates i.e. McCain, Clinton, and Obama. The press is cognizant of the Annenberg count and finesses it through the titles but in the article use loaded words to slant the article in a negative way.
